Love’s Travel Stops Special Offer

As a part of an ongoing fueling partnership initiative with Love’s, all Melton drivers will be gifted Diamond Status to all Love’s Travel Stop locations beginning March 1st and ending May 31st. Drivers will receive the following benefits during this time period:

  • For all fuel purchases, each Melton driver will receive 4 points/gallon purchased
  • Store purchases will also earn 4 points/dollar spent
  • Each Melton driver will enjoy free unlimited showers
  • In addition to Love’s free courtesy cup with 50-gallon fill, all drinks (refills) are free

It is our understanding from Love’s Customer Service that a driver must get fuel at a Love’s location and swipe their rewards card to be activated into this program. They will need to repeat this at the beginning of each month (April and May) to be reactivated into the program as well.

Message from Driver Services

Our Driver Services team is eager to share helpful resources and benefits to our amazing OTR drivers. One we especially encourage is the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that has many services to help drivers and their immediate family get through difficult times.


The EAP is with the Lincoln Financial Group LifeKeys Services and Employee Connect Services – these two links will give you contact information, your WEB ID to register, and what services they provide to you and your immediate family.

This benefit is at no cost and services are 24/7 which include:

·   Grief Counseling – Advice, information, and referrals.

·   Financial Services – Online resources or advice from financial specialists.

·   Legal Support – Access to quick legal information.

·   Help with everyday life – Comprehensive information on planning a memorial service, finding child care, selecting a mortgage, moving/relocation, and major purchases.

As a secondary message from Driver Services, we would like to thank you for your participation in our WorkHound surveys. Thanks to some of your feedback through Workhound, our Operations and Shop Managers in Laredo made an small update to the inspection process. Bobtails (tractors without a trailer) may now enter through Lane 1 to be inspected. We anticipate this will help speed up the inspection process for many drivers. Thank you for helping us be more efficient to benefit everyone!

Driver Spotlight

Katy Walden, Driver Services Coordinator, received a call from Chris Wheatley in truck 12296 on April 10th, and he wanted to submit a Workhound survey over the phone! Chris has only been with us for one month, but he’s truly amazed by Melton and couldn’t be more thankful for Bob! He was over the moon that he got to take a selfie with him in Birmingham on his first day! On April 28th, he made it to the Tulsa terminal, and Katy took him to Bob’s office. Bob was sorry he wasn’t there to say ‘hi’ to Christopher.
