What is Regional Trucking?
Regional trucking is a type of trucking that involves a driver traveling within a set area of the U.S., versus the whole country with OTR. Depending on your company, this area usually encompasses a mile radius or a few states. Most regional drivers will be home weekly or biweekly, in contrast to OTR drivers who can be out three or more weeks at a time.

Truck Drivers Wanted: Experienced and Recent CDL Grads
Whether you are an experienced driver, recent grad, or transitioning veteran, if you want to start trucking, we have positions available for you!
- $0.52 cpm – $0.65 cpm – based on experience
- Home Weekly (Mostly Weekends) – or choose to stay out longer
- Average 1,750-1,850 miles/week
- Runs in OK, TX, AR, and LA

Pay and Bonuses
- 14 CPM per diem
- $100 tarp pay – This translates to an additional $10,000 or more in annual compensation.
- Extra stop/repower pay
- 6 CPM extra for Canada and hazmat loads
- 16 CPM extra for over dimensional loads
- Fuel Bonus – up to $6,000 annually for meeting MPG requirements
- Road Warrior Program – Extra layer of flexibility giving OTR drivers the option to choose an additional day of home time or extra cash based on the amount of time they are out on the road.

Requirements to Drive at Melton:
Requirements for Ok/TX Fleet Drivers
To join the East fleet at Melton, your home address must be within 75 miles of I-35 OR in Houston, TX. We require a minimum 6 to 12 months previous OTR experience to qualify for a regional position. Credentialed drivers will be given priority placement (Hazmat & TWIC).
Military Veterans Succeed at Melton
- Qualifying veterans could receive up to an additional $19,000 of tax-free BAH within their first year. If they opt to remain in the program for the full 24-months, they could receive over $29,000 of tax-free BAH!
